Prism Solar Technologies Inc. (PST), has acquired a new manufacturing site in New York State. The site, located in Highland, New York includes 6.5 acres of land and a 93,000 square-foot manufacturing building. The facility was purchased for US $3.75 million from PLASMACO.

Vestas has received an order for 33 megawatts of wind turbines for the Mersin project in Turkey. The order calls for the delivery, transportation and installation of 11 units of the company’s V90-3.0 MW wind turbine, a VestasOnline Business SCADA system, as well as a five-year service and availability agreement. Delivery of the turbines is scheduled to start in the third quarter of 2009 and the project is expected to be completed by the beginning of 2010.
