LDK Solar Signs Module Supply Contract with Oneworld Energy
Xinyu City, China and Toronto, Ontario, January 27, 2010 – LDK Solar Co., Ltd. (“LDK Solar”; NYSE: LDK), a leading manufacturer of solar wafers, announced today that it has signed a contract to supply solar modules to Canada based COU Solar Inc. (“COU”), a subsidiary of Oneworld Energy Inc. (“Oneworld”). Under terms of the agreement, LDK Solar will deliver approximately 30 megawatts (MW) of solar modules to COU/Oneworld in 2010.

Recurrent Energy To Build 50 MW of Solar PV for Southern California Edison
Recurrent Energy has signed agreements with Southern California Edison (SCE) to develop solar photovoltaic projects. Under the terms of the deal, the utility plans tol buy 100 percent of the power from three of Recurrent Energy’s California solar projects. Recurrent Energy will build and operate the solar power systems, located in Kern County and San Bernardino County, which have a combined installed capacity of 50 megawatts (MW). The projects are expected to be completed in early 2013.

Advanced Energy Awarded 2.4-MW Contract
Advanced Energy Industries Inc. announced that it has been awarded the second-phase contract for a newly expanded 6 MW solar plant installed at Aerojet’s corporate headquarters in Sacramento, California. The Solaron PV inverters were selected by Solar Power, Inc. for the expansion because of their efficiency ratings, as well as their ability to deliver maximum power and lowest LCOE (Levelized Cost Of Energy), the company said.
