Econcern Plans 720 MW of Wind in China
Econcern has announced agreements that will see €863 million [US $1.1 billion] invested in more than 720 megawatts (MW) of onshore wind farms in China. The announcement was made at the 14th UN Climate Change Conference in Poznan, Poland, as part of the Global Wind Energy Council’s (GWEC) “Wind Power Works” campaign.
