For the fifth year, Solar One presents the Solar-Powered Film Series, free outdoor screenings in our location along the East River.  We’ve got 7 great films showing this year in conjunction with our friends and partners at the Green Edge Collaborative, including Who Killed the Electric Car, Addicted to Plastic, The Garden and the world premier of Burning In The Sun.  We also have a special screening of What’s On Your Plate? scheduled for Friday, September 25th.  See the full schedule below.  In case of rain, we have reserved Sundays as a backup.  We will update this space with new information should rain cause any postponements

Each screening is  FREE and open to overyone.  If you’re a Facebooker, feel free to share the event details with an invitation through our event page here.

Also, come out early on Thursday the 10th and Saturday the 12th (rain date Sunday the 13th) for a performance of Our Lady of Detritus, beginning at 5pm in Stuyvesant Cove Park.  We will also be featuring performances on the 17th, 18th and 19th by the Alice Farley Dance Theater at 5pm before the films begin.
